J352/02: Exploring Poetry and Shakespeare


The task of leading marking involves monitoring and ensuring the standard of examiners throughout the examination period. The Task Descriptor for this role can be reviewed prior to completing your application.


You will be educated to NQF Level 4/5 or equivalent in an appropriate subject with current, relevant assessment experience.  With excellent IT skills, you will be able to lead, inspire, challenge, motivate and empower others. You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills. An understanding of the requirements for standardisation and awarding is also essential.


Leading marking tasks are likely to be carried out at home although attendance at some meetings will be necessary. This task will require you to lead or take part in activities throughout the year, but the summer months will normally be the peak period.


Remuneration of OCR assessors is on a task basis. It varies by task, the demands of the qualification, and the size of the candidate entry for a particular series.
