OCR is currently seeking Developers for Cambridge Technicals in the three subject areas of Criminology, Engineering and Health and Social Care. (Please note, previous successful applicants from the first round of recruitment in early 2022 need not re-apply)

As a Developer you will use your experience and creativity to develop and revise high quality teaching and learning resources, sample assessment materials and components for the OCR qualifications above. The Profile for this role can be reviewed prior to completing your application.

 

You can express an interest in any of the roles below:

 

  • Unit Developer - prepare and draft content for assessed units, as well as review and redraft work that incorporates feedback in preparation for submission. 

 

  • Sample Assessment Materials Developer - prepare and draft content (including mark schemes) for sample assessment material, as well as review and redraft work that incorporates feedback in preparation for submission.

 

  • Reviser - undertake a thorough review of all aspects of the assessment material including any stimulus material, mark scheme and assessment criteria and complete a Reviser report for consideration at an evaluation committee. 

 

  • Scrutineer - work on the sample assessment materials from the candidate perspective for accessibility. Undertake a thorough review of all aspects of the assessment including any stimulus material, mark scheme and assessment criteria. Complete a Scrutineer report for consideration at an evaluation committee.

We aim to notify you of the inital outcomes within a week from the closing date.

 

Shortlisted candidates will then be required to complete an exercise which will relate to the chosen role(s). Candidates will be given a 2 week window in which to complete this task.

 

We aim to notify you of the final outcomes by 25th July 2022.
