Posted Date:  01-Aug-2022

Task: Visiting Monitor Science

Subject: GCE Geology

Location: Midlands / East / South East / South West

About the role

As a visiting Monitor, you’ll be verifying the quality of the centre’s provision of practical activity, and the procedures for maintaining the documentary requirements. You’ll be part of a team and you’ll work closely with your team leader.

For visiting monitoring, you will be required to visit your allocated centres or monitor remotely.

We’ll make sure you are fully trained so you understand the monitoring process and your part in it. There will also be standardisation activities to make sure you can apply the criteria consistently.

Typically, visiting monitoring is carried out throughout the year. You would generally undertake around 6-7 monitoring visits per year. We’ll quote specific details and fees when we offer you a monitoring task.

Due to the nature of this task, you are prohibited from carrying out the role of monitor for any specification where you have sight of the confidential assessment material.
