To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge examiners.

Cambridge International Professional Development Qualifications – Language specialist – Spanish

Cambridge International Professional Development Qualifications – Language specialist - Serbian

Cambridge International Professional Development Qualifications – Language specialist - Uzbek

Requirements are that applicants will:

  • Be bilingual (written and spoken) in English/Spanish, English/Serbian, or English/Uzbek
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • For syllabuses 4164 and 4167, have at least 5 years teaching experience
  • For syllabus 4196, have at least 5 years teaching experience, and have held a leadership role within an educational context
  • have experience and familiarity with teacher professional development
  • be based in the UK
  • have a PC/Mac, fast broadband, and IT skills 
  • To mark on these qualifications you will be expected to attend standardisation events in April and October. These may be face to face or online.  If face to face, Cambridge International will cover expenses incurred in the UK.


Successful applicants will have:

  • the ability to work well under pressure
  • the ability to keep to deadlines


As an examiner you will be marking a differing number of candidate portfolios to a strict deadline for each exam series, in line with approved marking procedures, and to the required standard. For more information on the role of an examiner please visit our website.
