To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge examiners.

We currently have new examiner vacancies for 0508 First Language Arabic Writing.


Requirements are that applicants will:

  • have a degree in Arabic or a related subject OR teaching experience of Arabic as a First Language
  • have a PC/Mac, fast broadband and IT skills 
  • be able to attend the standardisation meeting in the UK in June 2020
  • To mark on this panel you will be expected to attend a face to face meeting in the UK, please see below regarding expenses. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis for overseas examiners who can attend the meeting remotely.


Successful applicants will have:

  • the ability to work well under pressure
  • the ability to keep to deadlines

If you are applying from outside the UK and there is requirement to attend training in the UK expenses will only be paid for travel within the UK.
