Requirements are that applicants have:

  • education to first degree level or equivalent;
  • a background in the subject for which items are produced; and
  • relevant teaching and/or assessment experience.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience

Item Writers are expected to:

  • be able to carry out administrative tasks efficiently and punctually;
  • have good written and spoken communication skills;
  • have a keen eye for detail;
  • have the ability to work under pressure; and
  • have good IT skills.

 

Applicants must also have a PC/Mac, and fast broadband.

  • collaborate well with others;

  • work to fixed time scales;
